Job Title: Electrical/Energy/Renewable Energy Solutions EngineerLocation: JohannesburgCompany: Hire Resolve's clientThis position involves identifying, implementing, and maintaining energy efficiency savings and on-site generation projects. The engineer ensures projects are executed cost-effectively, safely, and in compliance with regulations and specifications, aligned with the Service Level Agreement.Responsibilities:Identify, implement, and maintain energy efficiency savings and on-site generation for projects.Ensure projects are executed cost-effectively, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulations and specifications.Comply with all aspects of the Service Level Agreement.Conduct energy audits.Assist with business development in pursuit of Energy Service Company (ESCO) contracts.Requirements:Skills in energy auditing and expertise in energy efficiency projects, including auditing, planning, implementation, and management.Experience with onsite solar distribution and knowledge of small-scale embedded generation.Proficiency in Solar PV design, financials (ROI, IRR, cashflow, lifecycle costs, maintenance), and project management.10 – 15 years of experience in energy efficiency, turnkey Solar PV projects, and energy financial calculations.Minimum of a degree in Electrical Engineering.ECSA – Professional Engineer/candidate registration.Desired completion of CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or CEA (Certified Energy Auditor) course.PV Green Card certification.Benefits: Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
