Managed Talent Solutions a Business Unit within Datacentrix is looking for an IT Support Engineer for one of their client for a 3 months contract. The Engineer must be Microsoft certified coupled with knowledge and experience in supporting Microsoft Office 365/ M365 , Active Directory, End Point Security, Microsoft System Center Configuration or MS Intune. Qualifications and Technical Skills Matric and Diploma in IT Microsoft IT Professional Certification or equivalent such as Modern Desktop Administrator . Knowledge in support of Microsoft Office 365/ M365 Knowledge of Active Directory Administration for workstations . End Point Security experience, g. Microsoft Defender for workstations. Knowledge of Service Management Tools such as MS System Centre Service Manager . Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or Microsoft Intune . Experience with Manage Engine will be an added Qualifications and Technical Skills Matric and Diploma in IT Microsoft IT Professional Certification or equivalent such as Modern Desktop Administrator . Experience with Manage Engine will be an added Requirements: Provide technical computer and mobile service support, including collaboration/conferencing tools like Microsoft Teams to Board and Executive Management (EXCO). Prepare, install, and configure/upgrade Software and Hardware on End User Work Engage with Vendors / Service Providers and/or Original Equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of workstations and printers for hardware repairs and procurement of computer hardware and Perform the system administration activities of Digital Support systems (i.e., server management and disaster recovery for the area of digital engineering). Contribute to computer technology standards, technology specifications, and adherence to the Manage and perform the Asset and Configuration Lifecycle from cradle to grave, that is to Plan, Request, procure (initiate and evaluate requests for quotations), Receive and register and barcode, Deploy/Allocate/Move, retire and dispose of IT Assets, Control inventory, Keep the IT Asset Register up to date, perform periodic IT Asset verification/auditing. Manage and perform Mobile Devices lifecycle from the cradle to the grave, that is to Plan, Request, Procure, Receive, Deploy/Allocate, and upgrade cellular devices and deal with queries and issues.
