Our client is looking for an experienced Gas Field Technician to join their company.Job Requirements:MatricMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Gas Field TechnicianCode 8 Drivers LicenseAbility to use an instrument for gas analysisMS Office knowledgeOperations and Maintenance:Day to day operations of gas fields and generators at assigned sites in order to achieve maximum electrical output. Maintenance of gas field and plant used in the operation of LFG schemes subject to training & competency.Responsibilities:Gas tests and gas balancing of the gas fieldAssistance with gas field new builds and maintenance of current gas field systemMaximize electrical production and reduce operational costsField Support of other Technicians as requiredUtilisation of the company’s operations and maintenance procedures, manuals, record keeping and stock control systemsCompliance and implementation of company environmental protection proceduresCommitment to training to enhance knowledge and skillsConduct air emissions monitoringDeal directly with spillages using pollution prevention equipmentOrdering of spares and control of stockAny reasonable task required by the management in the exercising of its goalsProject Involvement:Assistance in cleaning and maintenance of generator sets and acceptance of units at hand-over to Operations.
