About the role: Reporting to the Corporate Health and Safety Director of the NACAP Group, the mandate of this new position is to coordinate various projects from a corporate perspective. The incumbent will play a key role in the development of programs and initiatives, providing support to different NACAP group sites internationally (two sites in Quebec, two in the USA, and one in the Philippines) for their implementation. More specifically, you will be tasked with: As a NACAP corporate representative, support and coordinate the development of innovative projects, programs, initiatives, and deployment plans. Develop training and support tools to ensure the effectiveness of programs and meet established objectives. Support sites in the implementation of various projects and programs, such as a new work permit issuance program. Coordinate certain initiatives, such as the implementation of a new integrated computerized system. Support the implementation of corporate requirements, current or new, related to Glencore's safety standards, including Working at Heights, Lockout/Tagout, etc. Contributing to achieving Glencore's strategic objectives. Participate in various workshops with sites to develop activities and programs. Collaborate in standardizing practices within the NACAP group. Sit on various inter-divisional working committees at the international level. Actively participate in audit and verification processes. Skills: Minimum of 7 years of experience in health and safety in an industrial setting. University education in health and safety. Excellent knowledge of standards and practices related to Working at Heights, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, etc. Excellent analytical and synthesis skills. Excellent program writing skills. Capable of developing effective training. Autonomous, results-oriented, and a team player. Ability to develop partnerships and networking. Very good organizational, adaptation, time management, and priority management skills. In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to health and safety at work, including the RSST (Quebec). Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Travel: Must be able to travel occasionally to various sites in the United States, Quebec, and the Philippines.
