Relevant accounting qualification Own transport Fluent in English and Afrikaans Key Responsibilities: Prepare Financial Statements: Create monthly income and balance sheet statements, reconciliations, and management accounts with accuracy and timeliness. Report Generation: Produce and present detailed reports for the Financial Director (FD), including stock and expense reports. Financial Controls: Monitor and enhance financial controls, manage the fixed asset register, and handle VAT reconciliations. Department Oversight: Oversee finance department activities, including stock management, debtors, creditors, cash, and bank transactions. Audit Preparation: Assist with year-end audit preparations and liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process. Team Management: Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring effective performance, providing training, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Technology and Software: Stay updated with advancements in financial technology and accounting software to ensure best practices.
