We pride ourselves in helping our employees to realise their worth.The overall purpose of the role:The primary focus of the Communication Lead is to lead the development and execution of an integrated communication strategy for Sanlam Corporate. This includes assessing business needs, proposing communication solutions, and offering strategic advice to design strategies and campaigns that effectively engage a wide array of stakeholders, both externally and internally. The goal is to ensure these communications activities are aligned with and support the SC client value proposition and make a significant impact on the intended audiences.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of an integrated communications and engagement plan for internal and external stakeholdersLead and support the communication team in delivering communication initiatives to all stakeholdersLead development and improvement of key digital communication channels for SCIdentify and present opportunities for consistency in messaging and customer experience across channels and all external communication.Lead inhouse and external graphic designers, photographers, and other mediaproduction specialists integral to the completion of communication projects.Develop of internal and external communications protocols to enhance consistency and support reputation managementMonitor, analyse & report on campaigns and communications campaigns/strategies in collaboration with the various SC business.Identify opportunities to leverage and collaborate with communications colleagues across Sanlam Group on projects and campaigns that are relevant for SCQualifications and Experience:Minimum of a bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, public relations or related field (Postgraduate qualification would be advantageous)At least 5 years' experience in a similar role (experience in the insurance industry would be advantageous)Highly developed project and time management skillsExcellent critical thinking, writing, and oral communication skillsProven knowledge and understanding of best writing and messaging practices for business and general correspondence, public relations, marketing and social mediaAbility to multitask and work well under pressureHighly developed attention to detailKnowledge and Skills:Enthusiastic, energetic attitudeA specialist who operates well in a small teamWell organised and able to work in a multitasked environmentSelfstarter with the ability to use own initiative and invent solutionsDemonstrated ability to manage internal and external client expectationsCulturally sensitive and skilled at developing content for diverse audiencesProven experience creating targeted contentAn appetite for continuous development of own communication skills and expertise, and an eagerness to champion this learning internallyPersonal Qualities:Flexible and AdaptableRebounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.-CourageStepping up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said.-Manages ComplexityDemonstrated ability and proven record to make complex decisions.-Ensures AccountabilityHolding self and others accountable to meet commitments.-Plans and AlignsPlanning and prioritising work to meet commitments aligned to organisational goalsCore Competencies:-Cultivates Innovation by creating new and better ways for the organisation to be successful.-Client FocusBuilding strong customer relationships and delivering customercentric solutions.-Drives ResultsConsistently achieving results and meets deadlines, even under tough circumstances.-CollaboratesBuilding partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.-ResilienceRebounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.Turnaround Time:Our commitment to Transformation:The Sanlam Group is committed to transformation and embracing diversity and our employment equity plan and targets will be considered as part of the recruitment pr#J-18808-Ljbffr
