ADP (a Lycopodium business) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced QA Manager to join our dynamic, growing team. Based in Cape Town and working with the HSEQ Manager, the successful candidate will develop, implement and manage ADP’s QA processes and procedures to ensure the continued excellence of the Company’s QA Management System. The tasks you'll perform Develop, implement, and maintain the Company Quality Management Plan and System. Ensure that the QA Management Plans, and dependent systems and procedures continue to meet the required quality standards of the Company, Client and Regulation. Maintain the consistent quality of contracts administration and management including alignment with the requirements of the Company cost, schedule, quality, governance and risk. Ensure quality requirements are being met for contracts throughout execution, through documentation review and inspections. Manage, track and coordinate customer review and approval of project quality deliverables. Manage non-compliance processes for service contracts, including support of cost recovery efforts with the Procurement Group. Manage non-compliance processes for ADP internal activities, including resolution of customer-issued NCRs for projects. Liaise with client QA representative, where appointed. Support the Project Managers and Project Engineers in their preparation of project specific plans and procedures. Ensure Project Management Plans and dependent systems and procedures are developed and implemented in compliance with the requirements of Company systems, Client systems, regulatory and contractual requirements. Arrange or conduct audits or documented review, to verify the effective establishment of project management processes, systems and procedures fully compliant with contractual obligations. Assist the Project Managers and Project Engineers to rectify deficiencies identified in the full implementation of management system processes and procedures. Ensure effective planning and implementation of design control, verification, validation and review activities. Liaise with the Procurement Manager during subcontractor or supplier evaluation and negotiation to establish the suitability of proposed Quality Management Systems for the products or services to be supplied. Assist Requisitioning Engineers in review of Inspection and Test Plans and include nomination of independent inspection/verification “Hold” and “Witness” points where appropriate. Ensure implementation and verification of construction inspection and testing activities. Input quality progress data for project reports on behalf of the Project Manager. Manage non-conformance corrective action and preventive actions and ensure investigation, follow-up actions are effectively implemented. Assign experienced and qualified personnel to perform auditing and inspection activities. Arrange or conduct ongoing audits and surveillance visits to ensure conformance with agreed practices and the maintenance of project records at project offices and subcontractor or supplier locations as determined by auditing plans. Effective implementation of “change management” throughout the life of the project. Travel to vendor and project sites where required. Promote and support the Health, Safety, Environmental and Security function to ensure Group compliance with Company procedures and standards. Provide direction and support to all direct and functional reports. Work collaboratively with personnel across all ADP Group and Lycopodium business units. Maintain compliance with the company’s Corporate Governance Manual and the Risk Management Procedure. The expertise you'll bring Appropriate, relevant Tertiary Qualification or equivalent industry experience in Quality Assurance 10+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance roles within mineral processing and/or related industries. Strong technical experience including welding, NDT, painting and assembly works. South African Citizen or Permanent Resident Cape Town based Demonstrated experience in leading team(s) of professionals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables, within budget and schedule constraints. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and a practical approach to problem-solving. Self-motivated with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple, varied tasks while ensuring attention to detail.
