He / She will be responsible for all laboratory related tasks, whether it’s on site or in the commercial laboratory. He / She shall be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the SGS quality systems. To ensure that the laboratory and office functions runs smoothly, with excellent quality of service, the saving of manpower cost, which contribute to accuracy, productivity and profitability. To ensure all equipment are cleaned and maintained on a regular basis. To ensure materials testing are completed in all laboratory division, including soils, asphalt, seals, concrete, aggregate with bench calculation as and when required for testing. The Commercial Laboratory Manager will ensure that the laboratory is clean at all times and will carry out all work related instructions from the technicians/supervisors or authorized personnel.The ideal candidate for this position will be a person that is disciplined and treat colleagues and management with respect, deadline & revenue driven and possessing enough energy and passion to maintain good staff relationships.
