The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification and min 5 years experience in a similar role. Advanced Excel skills essential. Duties:Stock management:Uploading and/or receiving stock from packhousesMaking sure stock matches with intakes and that fruit is packed correctly with the correct specificationsSolving stock discrepancy issuesManaging stock by allocating to markets and/or clientsRepacking instructions for incorrect packed productsRegistration of system data (such as pack types, product characteristics, counts etc.)Client liaison:Client liaison regarding packing, shipping times and salesSending packing instructions to packhousesSending loading notifications to clientsHandling packhouse queries regarding specifications and packaging materialUpdating clients on general quality, packing progress, fruit availability and season progressMaking sure client programs are adhered toBooking containers for clients and sending load-out instructions to packhousesIssuing paperwork of ex-packhouse clients (addendums/loading notifications/invoicing and other supporting documents)Assist with collecting and checking account salesFollowing up on debtorsVolume and performance summaries of different clientsAssist with market summaries and reportsSupplier-base communication:Acquiring administrative documentsHandle producer queries (e.g. carton discrepancies)Do summaries such as variety performance according to payments and pack-outs as well as fruit size distribution summariesOther:Maintaining the CHEP account (getting new trading partners and packhouses registered, transferring pallets from packhouse account – to the companies account and onto receiver account)Addressing discrepanciesEnd of season feedback to clients/producers/packhouses with head of business unit Based in Somerset West, Helderberg Personnel was establishedin 1998.
