About The RoleWe are looking for a FP&A Business partner to work with the FP&A Managerto support business planning by providing financial analysis and modelling whilst identifying and measure key success drivers and providing finance and business support to commercial, sales and operational staff.With our aim to be a flexible employer, this role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office & 2 working remotely.Main Duties include:Ensure monthly cost centre P&L reports are accurate by way of checking work completed bythe accounts department and ensure P&Ls are ready for issue to internal stakeholders; Monthly forecasting and annual budgeting; this will involve:-Liaising with budget holders on a monthly bases to update forecasts and internal models for all areas of overhead costs.-Present and review previous month actual results to budget holders and be the go-to person for questions and information.-Understand and report on variances to forecasts, budgets and assumptions and be able to communicate these to stakeholders.-Track spend against company initiatives and investments and report on performance.Prepare powerpoint presentation slides explaining overhead costs, P&Ls, budgets and forecasts.Report on Network productivity and ensure the accuracy of data in our reporting software.Analyse payroll versus budget, create forecasts, people planning and productivity by branch.Calculate monthly bonuses for the Network and appropriate forecasting of changes to schemes.Manage *** spend including tracking, forecasting and measuring against budget, whilst ensuring budget holders follow process and spend within their limits.Review of business cases for investment *** and ensure quality of ROI calculations prior to management review.Support budget holders with identifying efficiency opportunities by way of modelling and analysing data available, enabling us to proposeideas and solutions to problems faced within the Network.Implement process and reporting improvements which drive efficiency by moving manual reporting into software based solutions.Support with ad hoc investment models and analysis, to aid investment decisions.Working hours:40hours per week, Monday to FridayAbout YouWhat you'll need to succeed:Strong science or analytical based background (Maths, Science, IT, Economics, Business or Engineering degree)Ambitious candidate at the start of their career looking for a progressive roleStrong personal skills as this role requires a lot of interaction with budget holders and managementProficient in excel or with a high level of computer literacy and a strong ability to learn quicklyA self-starter with a desire to learn fast and take on new challengesAbout UsGSF Car Parts is one of the UK’s leading automotive parts distributors, supplying thousands of independent garages throughout the UK and Ireland with parts, tools, garage equipment and specialist training.
