Plant Manager required for a reputable water treatment company based in Witbank (eMalahleni) , MpumalangaRequirements:Qualifications: B.Eng or BTech in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Engineering Qualification is preferred. Civil and Mechanical will be considered depending on relevant experience)Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in advanced water treatment.Experience in RO, UF, Precipitation, Clarification will be an advantagePrevious experience in managing staff will be an advantageUnderstanding of plant health and managing water treatment assets.Relevant management experienceProven record of satisfactory prior performanceComputer skills: Word, Excel, data base, power point and e-mailGood communication and Interpersonal skillsSkills in planning, attention to detail and process troubleshootingEthical and responsible behaviourInnovative and accountableClient managementResponsibilities:Oversee and manage respective Plant Supervisor(s), Production & Maintenance teams within the area of responsibilityManage production & maintenance team utilization and performance / outputResponsible for plant performance and Compliance to contractual quality and quantity KPI’sTake accountability for Safety Performance in accordance with the MHSA/OSHA legal appointment.Maintain effective administration and control procedures to meet performance objectives, including financial control, HR/IR, procurement and stock management.Continuous improvement and optimization of processesImplement and maintain Financial Control with Profit & Loss accountability for the plant(s)Monitoring and detail records and reporting on all aspects of the processes, ongoing projectsEnsure efficient resource management of employees to ensure they can meet the performance objectives required of them.Ensure client satisfaction by delivering a professional and high-quality service.Client feedback meetings and reporting as requiredCompile Plant Reports and attend client meetings as requiredMonitor plant health and pro-actively intervene to ensure plant availability is optimizedEffective reporting to the Operations Manager of the areaPerform plant operational standby dutiesShould you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O’Hagan at
