Key responsibilities of the role:Operational Leadership:Develop and implement operational strategies to support the company's overall mission and objectives.Oversee all aspects of operational activities, including but not limited to customer support, project management, quality assurance, and resource allocation.Streamline internal processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and profitability.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive continuous improvement.Software Delivery Management:Lead the software delivery team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of SaaS solutions to clientsCollaborate closely with product management and development teams to prioritize features, plan releases, and manage product roadmapsImplement best practices for software development, deployment, and maintenance to ensure the reliability and scalability of our platformDrive innovation and technological advancements to maintain our competitive edge in the marketCross-Functional Collaboration:Developing, reviewing, and reporting on key metrics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to ensure we meet or exceed our goalsFoster a culture of collaboration and teamwork across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectivesWork closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to understand client needs, gather feedback, and drive product enhancementsCollaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth and profitabilityBe instrumental in the implementation of new technology and innovative solutions that can enhance operations, streamline processes, and improve efficiencyWorking with the People Team, on the development of more efficient people operations, for internal processes such as onboarding, learning and development, and talentAbout You:Deep understanding of the Insurance industryExperience as a COO or in a similar senior operational leadership role, with proven experience in the successful delivery of key strategic business goalsProven background and understanding of the operations within software development and SaaS delivery, ideally within the insurance industryExtensive managerial experience in multi-disciplinary teams and well-developed management skills both principles and peopleHighly commercial and able to understand and drive improvements in the growth drivers of the business.Highly effective and focused, with inspirational leadership skillsPossessing the credibility, gravitas, and integrity to lead significant organizational change and to deliver sustainable stakeholder relationships and innovative changeSound administrative and reporting skillsBe resilient, tenacious, and adaptable
