PA TO THE PRINCIPAL&ADMISSIONS SECRETARY Wynberg Girls’ High School is a dynamic, diverse, and proudly South African public girls’ school situated in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. WYNBERG GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL VACANCY: PA TO THE PRINCIPAL&ADMISSIONS SECRETARY (wef 1 July 2024) The school seeks to appoint a highly motivated, skilled PA to the Principal&Admissions Secretary who endorses the school’s vision and values (wef 1 July 2024, or as negotiated). The successful applicant will work closely with a friendly and hard-working administrative team and passionate educators, striving together to create the best learning environment for our learners. The PA to the Principal must provide confidential, professional and personal support to the Principal as well as fulfil a dual role as the Admissions Secretary. This position requires a technologically savvy, highly efficient, friendly, dedicated, and flexible person who will approach work with a positive attitude, honesty, confidentiality, integrity, and good humour. Skills required: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Google Suite, and the ability to adapt to various other school specific programmes Ability to be proactive and take the initiative Excellent organisational skills Good interpersonal skills Experience as a PA and with WCED processes preferable Duties include: Administrative and personal support to the Principal Admissions Secretary Assistance with recruitment processes Liaison with and administrative duties for the WCED Assist with switchboard and reception General ‘front-of-house’ support The successful applicant must be prepared to work outside of office hours, and will be required to undergo child protection screening and a criminal check.
