ENGINEERING ADMINISTRATOR (Supply Chain)A leading research and product development pharmaceutical company seeks an Engineering Administrator (Supply Chain) at their premises in Cape Town.Education Qualifications: Minimum MatricPreferred Industries: FMCG, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Engineering WorksExperience: Up to 5 years in Supply chain co-ordination, preferably someone with basic engineering drawing understanding and basic financial acumen.Key Responsibilities:Supplier communication including quote requests, drawing supply, and part shipment.Obtaining feedback from team members and providing feedback on project progress.Planning and managing the process from quoting through to receiving finished product from suppliers.Sending out drawings to various suppliers for quotes.Raising purchase orders and sending them to suppliers.Working closely with the head of engineering and accounts on project budgets to control spend.Supplying accounts with a list of expected purchases for the upcoming month to plan cash flow.Arranging regular visits with suppliers to discuss each project and ensure delivery timelines.Sourcing new suppliers and monitoring On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery.Ensuring correct drawing revisions with suppliers.Saving project information according to electronic capture procedures.Communicating all scope, drawing, and procedure changes to relevant team members.Storing all information in the relevant project folders.Collecting and receiving finished machined/bought out parts from suppliers if necessary.Organizing shipment of machines to the USA and obtaining quotes from shipping companies.Coordinating the shipping process from crating to delivery at the USA plant.Assisting with documentation required for machine installation at the USA site.Organizing shipments and documentation for items sent to the USA (e.g., machine parts, capsules, membranes, samples).Placing orders for raw materials for testing (e.g., capsules, membranes, oils, powders).Keeping the local raw material stock control sheet updated, including shipped materials.Conducting stock take and maintaining T&E asset lists, including asset modifications and write-offs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
