Great service starts with our people, so colleague and client engagement are the two measures we care most about, driving our management agenda and investment.We are looking for a financial reporting specialist to interact daily with the head of the corporate accounting team to manage our client’s financial position, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and reporting requirements. This person should be an effective communicator with experience in financial planning and management. We are looking for someone with an analytical mind, a high attention to detail with good customer focus. The role concentrates on delivering a daily service to our client, specifically; promoting good governance, acting in the interests of going concern, regulatory and reporting compliance, loss minimisation and other more ad-hoc goals, enabling them to make informed and timely decisions for the better of all their stakeholders. ResponsibilitiesAnalyse the corporate portfolio’s financial position per company (income, expenses, and liabilities)Present suitable solutions and recommendations to best manage the cash and liquidity of entity’s administered.Work with the client’s treasury team to develop sound plans and budgets for all companies.Maintain cash forecast workings and complete budget reporting on a monthly basis.Customize financial reports according to client’s evolving needs.Track the solvency positions of the companies within the portfolio.Review financial statements and performance reports.Maintain a consolidated view of the entities’ cash and liquidity positions.Help implement financial action plans as approved by directors.Prepare financial information and other reports to be included in board packs.Build strong relationships with the client’s stakeholders.Maintain updated knowledge of regulations, practices, and financial management trends.Support on other ad-hoc transactions as may be needed.Requirements and skillsExperience as a finance manager or similar role; prior experience in external audit (Big 4/ Top 10 firms) is an added advantage.Strong ability to analyse financial information and produce solutions.Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systemsAttention to detail and strong math skills.Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitudeOutstanding communication skills, with the ability to foster long-term relationships.Professional certification and/ or academic training in accounting, finance or relevant field is an added advantage.Private equity industry knowledge is desirable.What's in it for you?An exciting opportunity in an international companyProfessional development opportunities as well as extensive individual further training opportunities, supported by our TMF Business AcademyA career within an ever evolving marketFlat hierarchies with direct contact to management and international exchangeWant to know more about a career with TMF Group?
