SD Recruitment is looking for a Research Nurse for one of our NPO clients on a contract basis. Location - Phillippi Village Working Hours - Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm (Additional weekends as need be) Start Date - ASAP The research nurse will be responsible for day to day nursing functions within a research-related environment. Requirements: Nursing Degree or Diploma and Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a research nurse GCP (Good Clinical Practice) Certificate Nimaart trained At least 2 years nursing experience Knowledge of study protocol / regulations Knowledge of HIV, and Sexually transmitted infections Excellent Computer literacy (Ms Office) Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and to maintain effectiveness during changing conditions Language proficiency in Xhosa and English Flexible working hours including weekends as required Ability to work harmoniously with youth of diverse backgrounds and sexual orientation.
