Quality Inspector Cape Town R15 000- 16 000 PM Precision Engineering Machine Shop seeks an experienced Quality Inspector to carry out first-off/ intermediate inspection checks on submitted work. Carrying out material clearance prior to issue to the shop floor. Ensuring that final inspection is carried out in accordance with relevant work instructions. Raising internal reject notes when non-conforming products is identified. Require working in other areas of scope of work as stipulated by the team leader from time to time. Authority to reject non-conforming items awaiting management decision on rework/scrap. Min Grade 12, N4 Mechanical engineering or similar and certified QC training, 5 years manufacturing experience, 1 year QC experience and experienced in using measuring equipment (micrometer, vernier, shadow graphs, etc.) and CMM and smart scope camera systems. Shift work applies day-07h30-15h30 and afternoon 15h30-23h30. Overtime will be paid when applicable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
