Assistant Director: Training and Development SANBI offers basic annual salary of R424104.00 The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is looking for a self-motivated individual to support training and development practices in the organisation by identifying development needs, coordinating implementation, evaluating impact and thereby contributing towards the skills profile of SANBI. This position requires a Degree in Human Resources Development / Management or equivalent qualification at NQF 7. A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Development / Management or equivalent degree at NQF 8 will be an added advantage. This position also requires 6 years of work experience in Human Resources Development of which 3 years should be at supervisory level. Experience as a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) will be beneficial. The following competencies are required for the candidate to be successful in this position: planning and organising, problem solving, leading others, communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal skills; report writing skills, computer literacy and experience in the application of software tools including (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook). The possession of a valid driver’s licence with at least one-year practical driving experience and a willingness to travel.
