Corporate Actions, Trading, Fund Accounting).Daily monitoring and updating of instrument classifications used for reporting.Additional Activities:Assisting with monthend pricing across all portfolios.Calculating daily interest coupon accruals.Involvement in initiatives/project work that seeks to simplify and create efficiencies in existing processes.Experience & Qualifications:Degree in one of the following fields: Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar.A minimum of 2 years work experience and knowledge of the financial industry and instruments is required.CFA qualification or studying towards would be advantageous.A technical understanding of daily market data is preferred.Experience in working with the following systems would be advantageous: Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), IHS Markit or Fundamental Portfolio Manager (FPM).A history of strong performance.Competencies:Strong numerical ability.Work well under pressure.Be organized and deadline driven.Strong attention to detail.Must be able to work flexible hours if required to do so.Ability to operate independently as well as in a team.Interest and ability to navigate IT systems.Advanced Excel skills.Location:Cape TownClosing Date:23 June 2023#J-18808-Ljbffr
