The Risk & internal Audit Clerk will an integral role in safeguarding the Company’s inventory while ensuring compliance with Company policies & regulations.You will assess compliance with the Companies policies and procedures at store and support office levels and conduct inventory counts at warehouses and stores in Western Cape & Gauteng.Responsibilities:Stock Control:Develop and implement inventory count plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to the scheduled timeline.Conduct inventory counts in high-risk areas and oversee the results to ensure compliance with established procedures.Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical and system inventory levels promptly and efficiently.Internal Audit:Ensure the establishment and maintenance of a robust internal control environment, promoting adherence to company processes and controls.Execute internal audit plans designed to identify risks and control weaknesses, ensuring the integrity of our operations.Conduct comprehensive financial and operational audits to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with various departments to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress towards resolution.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal audit or stock control within the retail industry preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.Must be able to travel locally, driver’s license & own vehicle requiredThe post Risk Controller appeared first on freerecruit.co.za.
