We are currently recruiting for a seasoned Operations Manager to join a well-known agriculture company based in the Western Cape.You will be perfect for this roll if you possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Operations/Production/Business Management or Industrial Engineering and a minimum of 8+ years’ experience in a unionized environment. Experience within the fruit sector is essential! You should be comfortable in the boardroom and on the packhouse floor. In this role you will be managing the Presorting and Packing operations. Ensuring that the Bin and Pallet warehousing and logistics are managed and operated efficiently will also be your responsibility. You should have strong knowledge of export and local regulations to ensure compliance. You will assemble and oversee the operating expense budget, ensuring that waste and costs are effectively managed.
