JOB SUMMARY : The IT Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing daily duties of the team, provide direction, guidance and feedback to Banxso and team to ensure that the department is working towards the same goal. This position is also responsible for planning projects, upgrades, procurement of equipment, supplier management and initiatives that will support Banxo's growth and mitigate any IT related risks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Team Management :maintaining a positive work and team environment,managing, and supervising the IT team, assigning tasks and projects, implementing, and developing strategies to maximise team performance and productivity, ensuring that team members are executing their tasks as per their KPI's and Banxso's standards. - Targets and Goals :setting of departmental goals, ensuring that all team members are meeting their daily, weekly and monthly targets, taking corrective action where necessary and conduct performance evaluations. - Collaboration :collaborate with internal and external departments to ensure that employees have the necessary hardware and software resources required to succeed in their roles and that projects are completed within time and budget. - Training and Development :providing training on new technology, systems, coaching and development opportunities to assist the team members to strengthen and develop their skills. - Risk Management :implement periodic risk assessments, initiate risk control and ensure that all company information is stored and protected against security attacks and compromise. - IT Audits : perform regular IT audits to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them. - Asset Management :implementing, maintain and updating the asset register to ensure that all Banxso's hardware and equipment are accounted for. - Supplier Management :manage relationships with all hardware and software suppliers ensuring that Banxso receives the best prices and service. - Purchasing Management :procurement and sourcing of hardware, software, and consumables. - Budgets :manage the IT department's budget to ensure that resources are being used efficiently. - Policies and Procedures : Ensure that all employees are complying with IT processes, policies and procedures. - Reporting :provide accurate reports on IT projects, infrastructure, risks and needs. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS : Certificate/Diploma in IT Support 5 years + proven experience in IT preferably in a financial, sales or contact centre environment. 2 years + team management experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with all parties. Results orientated, driven and able to consistently meet and exceed targets. Ability to successfully complete projects and tasks with minimum disruption. Ability to work in a fastpaced high performing team and environment. Excellent problemsolving skills and business critical thinking abilities Risk Mitigation Demonstrated ability to adapt to a dynamic growing environment.
