As a Pastel Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, conducting audits, and preparing financial statements using Pastel accounting software. Responsibilities Manage and reconcile financial records using Pastel accounting software Responsible for managing several entitiesProcess all bank statements, supplier and journal entries up to Trial balancePrepare monthly financial reportsProcess payments on online bankingProcess and reconcile supplier accountsReconcile General Ledger accountsPetty cash control and reconciliationBad debt control and disbursementsFull creditors functions updating of all creditors contracts and renewalsVAT reconciliation and control and e-filing submissionProcess on Profsoft CRM system daily maintenance of clients and reporting functionsMaintain orderly file recordsResponsible for IT coordination, insurance reviews/ updates and renewals Prepare and review financial statements and reports Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting Conduct audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations Provide financial advice and guidance to clients Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in Pastel bookkeepingProfsoft experience an advantageProficiency in Excel and all Office softwareFluent spoken and written EnglishAccuracy and attention to detailStrong administration and organisation skillsWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentHigh growth opportunity Strong proficiency in Pastel accounting software Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
