Hire Resolve's client is seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to join their team in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry based in the Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of products, managing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.Responsibilities:Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and warehouse activitiesPlan and oversee the movement of products from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely deliveryProactively identify and mitigate supply chain risksDevelop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes and reduce operational costsEnsure compliance with regulations and company policies regarding the transportation and handling of hazardous chemicalsCollaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to manage inventory levels and minimize stockoutsAnalyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain processMonitor transportation providers to ensure adherence to safety standards and delivery schedulesDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain, including suppliers, customers, and transportation providersConduct daily analysis of stock levels and customer orders, to ensure product availability, which results in improved inventory management and enhanced customer satisfactionRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is requiredCertified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) can be advantageousMinimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain logistics in the Chemical IndustryProficiency in software systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemsFamiliarity with regulations governing the transport and storage of chemicals Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be based in the Western CapeContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Ashley Feldtmann, Rebecca Grylls, or Thomas Stacey at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV:  logistics@hireresolve.za.comWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
