Job Title: Engineering AdministratorReporting to: Senior Engineering Administrator/Office ManagerJob Type: Permanent PositionThe Engineering department currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate must conduct themselves at all times in a manner that reflects the professional and ethical values of the Group.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Devising and maintaining office systems to efficiently deal with the paper and process flow of the Engineering officeGenerating purchase requests on FraxionLiaising with suppliers on a daily basis on all orders, outstanding orders, and partly supplied ordersProcessing invoices on FraxionGenerating and maintaining reportsOrdering and processing payment for technical spares and mechanical partsIdentifying, managing, and addressing any discrepancies and inconsistencies with relevant parties as identified during procurement or payment process of parts and sparesGeneral office administration including filing, verifying time and attendance, drafting, verifying, and editing related documentation, ordering stationary on in-house systemQualifying Criteria:Grade 12 certificateDiploma/Certification in Business AdministrationAt least 5 years of Administrative experience within an Engineering or similar environmentRelevant tertiary qualification or studying towards one will be advantageousComputer literate – MS Advance office package proficiencyQualifying Attributes:Strong command of the English language: an eye for detail, meticulous grammar and comprehension, and exceptional written communicationBasic understanding of additional languages advantageousMeticulous, accurate, and attentive to detailExcellent business acumen and interpersonal skillsThe ability to self-manage with minimal guidanceAble to meet deadlines for multiple tasks at a timeAbility to work under pressureAbility to organize and plan carefullyHard-working and self-motivatedAbility to work independently as well as in a teamTime management and organizational skillsExcellent standards in executionStandard hours:07h30–17h00: Monday – Thursday07h30–16h00: FridayMay be required to work overtime as per operational requirementsBenefits include:Provident fundLife cover at 4x annual salaryMedical aid - hospital planFuneral cover15 x paid leave days per annumLong service leave after five years of employment#J-18808-Ljbffr
