One united by our mission and Moontality, where Lunauts can reach their potential in a remote but reachable world.The role in a nutshellThe role is based within the People Team and is to extrapolate insights from the data that we collect on our people and their experience of Luno. This will allow the team to drive better decisions and inform our People strategy. Your role will involve ensuring data accuracy, facilitating self-service and delivering compelling stories through dashboarding.Your mission will involve:Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to understand their People data needsDetermine the data needed to address the business needs while ensuring it is of the highest quality, reliable and trustedSuggest improvements to data collection and requirements, based on researchInterpret trends, patterns in data and provide the business with actionable insightsDesign metrics to help assess how the business is performing on it’s people metrics in real-timeBuild visually compelling dashboards that communicate insights to stakeholders (often non technical) to allow data informed decision makingProvide support with the data needs for people processes such as budgeting, salary reviews & benefits as well as reporting standards such as gender pay gap reportsA little about you:You are passionate about data analytics and related disciplinesYou can leverage data analytics to innovate and create out-of-the-box solutionsYou can gather and synthesise facts, theories, trends, patterns, inferences, and key issues in complex and variable situationsYou are intellectually curious and have the persistence to find answers to difficult questionsYou can diagnose problems using problem-solving tools and techniquesYou have strong interpersonal and communication skillsYou communicate technical concepts to non-experts in simple and helpful termsYou are a team player, enthusiastic about growing and developing othersYou can handle uncertain and ambiguous scenariosYou keep abreast of developments and emerging trends in dataYou are familiar with data governance principles and best practicesThe ideal Lunaut will have:To be successful in this role, you’ll have to have an investigative mind with a meticulous eye for detail.Bachelor's degree or higher in the natural sciences or technical fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or EconomicsA minimum of 2 years experience in the data spaceExperience using data, reports and graphs is essential.
