Job Description: Display proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D Schematic software to streamline chassis harness design Demonstrate strong collaboration with suppliers, effectively liaising on design elements and assessing results against rigorous customer requirements Exhibit precision in creating bills of materials and 3D assemblies using Unigraphics NX Demonstrate expertise in Siemens NX for crafting intricate electrical systems, including 3D wiring and 2D harness drawings Integrate electrical components seamlessly into the overall design Carry out efficient project management, including scope evaluation, timeline management, and rigorous concept and design reviews Efficiently manage product data in Team Centre, ensuring designs meet supplier and regulatory standards while prioritizing cost-effectiveness and serviceability Skills&Experience: Minimum of 5 years design experience Familiarity with Siemens NX for 3D CAD Experienced in utilizing Mentor Graphics Vesys for schematics design and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency Proficient in OEM design with hands-on experience Qualification: BEng/BTech Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent South African citizenship Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
