We are seeking 3 skilled and experienced Marine Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful applicants will be required to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel engines that power all types of water-based vessels. From small engine repairs to Marine vessel maintenance. Overall Responsibilities should include, but not limited to: • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel generators and main engines of vessels, including outboard motors, inboard motors, and large diesel ship engines. • Carry out fault finding and provide suitable recommendations for the repair. • Identify obsolete equipment and provide solutions for repairs. • Be able to compose reports. • Project manage all tasks allocated and meet timelines. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. • Collaborate effectively with other team members to complete projects. Qualifications: • Must be a qualified Artisan with Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal) • Proven work experience as a Marine Diesel mechanic Technical Skills or Knowledge required: • Must be knowledgeable on services and overhauls of diesel engines. • Proven work experience as a Marine Diesel mechanic Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic, with a focus on marine engines. • Own transport for commuting to the workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
