Job Title:Workshop BuyerLocation:WellingtonSummary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workshop Buyer to join our team. The Workshop Buyer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials and equipment needed for workshops, ensuring that the company has the necessary supplies to support its operations. The successful candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.Key Responsibilities:Source and purchase materials and equipment for workshopsCompare prices and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasingMaintain relationships with vendors and suppliersMonitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as neededCoordinate with workshop managers to determine materials and equipment requirementsEvaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvementsEnsure compliance with purchasing policies and proceduresKeep track of budget and spending for workshop suppliesProvide reports on purchasing activities and costsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldProven experience in purchasing or procurementStrong negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesKnowledge of supply chain management principlesFamiliarity with inventory management softwareDetail-oriented and organizedAbility to work independently and as part of a team#J-18808-Ljbffr
