Overview A great mining company in Welkom, Free State is seeking the expertise of an Underground Engineer to join their team of professionals. Responsibilities: Identify and assess level of issue-based risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes Perform planned job observations Document and review the maintenance strategy on an annual basis to ensure that it is aligned with the business plan Ensure strict adherence to the relevant engineering standards and specifications Investigate & communicate Commercial Exceptions Follow up warranty claims on component failures on high criticality equipment. Requirements: Grade 12 Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering GCC Mines and Works 10 – 15 years experience in an underground mining environment
