Manage Supt's, artisans and contractors successfully Managing after-hour breakdown situations Conforming to legal requirements for the Business Unit as per the OHS Act 85 of 1993 Ensure and adhere to all maintenance related activities and systems manage and adhere to service requirements Adhere to SHERQ standards, clean and organize workplace Budget and cost control Shutdown planning with role players Adapting and responding to change Team player, displaying leadership characteristics within organization during interaction with subordinates, colleagues and other departments Effective communication to persuade and influence stakeholders Results orientation to achieve personal and work goals Deliver results as per balanced scorecard in meeting stakeholder expectations Management of maintenance inventories Lead internal maintenance projects, including identified projects of a capital nature Initate and implement improvement projects and ideas that have a strategice and leong-term impact Determine root cause of incidents, failures etc. and implement corrective / preventative measures Qualification: B-Eng Degree (NQF 8/10) in Metallurgical / Electrical Engineering Preferably a Management Development Program Experience and Requirements: Minimum 8 years experience in a Production and Maintenance environment Experience in managing budgets SAP and computer literate Knowledge of labour relations Knowledge and experience of maintenance / production systems and philosophies specifially focusing on manufactuing systems including Mechanical Drive Systems, Hydraulic systems, Electrical control systems and Drives, Overhead Cranes and conveyor systems Experience, knowledge and understanding of the OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2004, ISO 9001:2008 codes Knowledge of the Iron Making process and interaction with customers General knowledge of safety Personal Attributes: High-leven leadership skills Highly motivated Analytical, benchmarking, problem solving, coordination and facilitation skills Dynamic, results-driven, with ahigh energy level Able to develop and maintain excellent business relationships #J-18808-Ljbffr
