Chief Operating Officer | UmhlangaJoin this boutique asset manager as a COO. The successful individual will be responsible for a broad level of operational duties that range from hands-on day to day management of all staff , providing strategic advice, identifying, executing existing and new operational systems and processes within this firm. The COO will oversee the company’s full business operations and report to the CEO of the group of companies. Implementing business strategies and optimising the organisation’s operational capabilities.Responsibilities:Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiencyAssessing and enhancing the efficiency of internal and external operational processesLeading and motivating staff to achieve sales and organisational objectivesOverseeing the recruitment process to attract the best candidates and reduce employee turnoverMentoring and inspiring employees to key into the vision of managementEstablishing policies that improve and promote company vision and cultureEvaluating company performance and recommend strategies to improve resultsCollaborating with management and other stakeholders to build and grow AUM and carry out other business-expanding strategiesFurther Operational  Duties:Analyse ProcessesHuman ResourcesProject manage (IT, Software, Internal capacity, Record Keeping, Electronic Systems, Staff performance and accountability)Streamline and improve all processes at companyMeasurement of all staff KPI’sIdentifying risks and compliance shortfalls and improve thereofGeneral company GovernanceStrategy – Executive a operational strategy in line with the company goals , targets and vision / valuesQualifications & Industry Exposure:Commerce QualificationRE1/RE5 – Advantageous5-10 years of operational management experience within investments, wealth or Asset ManagementExposure to implementing new financial planning systems & CRM softwareSkills & proficiencies required:LeadershipConflict ManagementPeople ManagementOut the box thinkerDependableReporting SkillsDeadline-OrientedCritical Thinking SkillsProblem Solving SkillsPlanning and OrganizingExcellent Communication SkillsPersuasivenessInfluencing and LeadingDelegationTeamworkNegotiationAdaptabilityHigh Stress ToleranceCritical Thinking and Problem Solving SkillsProject ManagementBusiness ManagementHigh-Level HR Duties#J-18808-Ljbffr
