Requirements:Electrical Engineering BEng/BSC Degree or BTech qualification7-10 years previous electrical engineering experience in industrial and infrastructure projects in the private and government sectors (a proven track record must accompany CV submissions)ECSA registered as a Professional Engineer or TechnologistGreenfields and brownfields plant design and construction experienceBe able to work and embrace team culture with fellow peers across the various divisions.Provide mentorship to students and graduatesDigSilent/ETAP Loadflow/Fault Study Modelling would be advantageousResponsibilities:Perform and oversee electrical engineering activities for various industrial projects in the private and government sectors to safely deliver on all company operational plans during the project execution phase;Engineering design in accordance with established standards and codes of practice;Reviewing technical documentation and defining electrical engineering requirements;Carrying out technical evaluations, preparation of specifications for electrical infrastructure and installations;Carry out feasibility and electrical power system studies;Attend factory acceptance tests and provide input to vendor’s test documentation.Manage and assist with plant electrical equipment and system installation and commissioning;Accountability for quality, risk management, financial performance, scope management and client satisfaction in all project undertakenLiaise with the client to ensure that agreed designs are in accordance with agreed requirements;Representation at client and professional meetings with the ability to present work and engage in a technical conversations in a professional manner;Benefits and Contractual information:Permanent contractBased out of Durban, KZN with regular travel into South AfricaSalary: R700,000.00 – R1,000,000.00/annum CTC negotiable (dependent on qualifications and experience)#J-18808-Ljbffr
