Their motto is teamwork is dream work.The purpose of this role is to provide architectural leadership by guiding projects being executed in the various product areas to ensure solid design and implementation as well as compatibility with the greater system.You will need to technically manage and lead a team of Architects.***Key Responsibilities:Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:Architectural Leadership: Drives initiatives to align the software architects within your team Oversees current and targeted architecture and agreed roadmap for all domains within your team Responsible for the overall software maturity of your domains Responsible for the overall alignment of your domains to the EA Strategies Participates and supports recruitment process for architecture discipline Detailed domain and some crossdomain knowledge Lead Architect for projects that exist within your domainLeadership: Skilled at communicating and driving targets and instilling a sense of urgency Able to visualise and communicate strategic direction Develops clear and logical communications suited for different audience levels (can explain complex ideas in simple terms) Leads by setting an example of being positive, optimistic and solutionfocused Able to disassemble a complex problem and rebuild it into a strategy Creates viable succession / career pathing plans based on retaining, developing and maximising internal talent and addressing skills gaps Accessible and open to input and needs of own and peer teams Shares knowledge of the big picture to help others understand their role Builds and develops positive relationships with individuals (especially peer leaders) and teams across organisations (Internal and external) to address needs and identify and solve problems Develops a broad range of relationships, specifically with peer leaders, with a focus on generating resources that will enable the achievement of company OKRsSkills and Experience Required: Demonstrated experience in successfully leading leaders At least 10 years technical expertise in a relevant technology, architecture or infrastructure stack used extensively throughout our system 10 years expertise architecting systems of substantial complexity At least 5 years' experience with technically leading and people managing a team of people 5 years expertise in a domain specific to one of our products, e.g. *** Server, Web, Poker, Viper Client, Casper (preferred) Proficiency in OOP and various design techniques Understanding of various Software Methodologies Undergraduate diploma / degree B.Sc.
