They serve diverse industries, including notable clients with the likes of the Department of Energy and Eskom South Africa. They are looking for a Product Owner to join their dynamic team. Job Description:The Product Owner will be crucial in understanding user needs and market trends to develop the right product features. Focus will be on driving revenue growth by implementing strategies to maximise profitability across their services. This role reports to the CEO and is based at their offices in Stellenbosch.Job Responsibilities:Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience that encourages user retentionEngage with the testing team to ensure that the product is optimised for monetizationIdentify potential service providers, establish contact, and persuade them to collaborate with the Application platformFoster and sustain meaningful relationships with existing partners to ensure satisfaction and optimal use of the platformCollaborate with cross functional teams, including developers, UI/UX designers and marketing to define and prioritize features that optimize revenue generationEnsure all features realised and approved by the Product Committee maintain a positive user experienceConduct market research and user feedback analysis to inform feature decisionsCollaborate closely with the digital marketing team and agencies to refine strategies and campaigns to bolster salesProvide feedback and requirements to the development team to enhance the platform's features and user experience with an aim to boost salesDevelop and execute a comprehensive monetization strategy for the mobile app, aligning with the overall business goals and user experienceStay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvementUtilise data analytics tools to monitor sales performance, adjusting strategies based on insightsRegularly report on achievements, challenges, and areas of opportunitySkills:Demonstrated expertise in market research, sales, negotiation, and closingProficiency in CRM software, data analytics tools, and digital marketing strategiesExcellent verbal and written communication capabilitiesAbility to work autonomously and collaborativelyAcquaintance with recent e-commerce trends and practicesQualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related fieldMaster’s degree advantageous.Bachelor’s in computer science advantageousMinimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or a related role with a focus on product managementDemonstrated experience in the specified service sectorsExperience in an e-commerce app spaceSalary: Market RelatedWorking hours : Monday to FridayCompany benefits:Competitive salary with performance-based bonusesComprehensive Medical InsuranceOpportunities for professional enhancement and growthProgressive and collaborative workplace environmentMedical InsuranceCell phone AllowanceShould you wish to apply for the position, please apply directly via this job board, please ensure that you quote reference number 202596 subject heading or email body.Surgo (Pty) Ltd will consider all applications in terms of its Employment Equity (EE) and is committed in maintaining diversity in its’ appointments.
