Responsibilities : Reading&understanding site plans for device location, able to quantify drawings against BOQ. Installation works for Access Control, CCTV&Fire Detection Cable installations&Route Build Cabinet&Panel wiring as well as terminations Quality Control&Site inspections. Site Supervision, Technician guidance&Support Troubleshoot&resolve technical issues related to CCTV, Access Control&Fire Systems System testing&commissioning Handle on site meetings Time management for tight deadline Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electronic security industry Matric Understanding circuitry from normally closed and normally open PSIRA registered SAQCC registered – Commissioner Level or Installer Level Impro Portal – Level 3 or higher * Gallagher – Access Technician * Milestone – MCIT * Avigilon – ACC6 or higher IT Networking experience – understands VLANs, LAN and IP assignments Experience with CCTV Cameras and installation of hardware AXIS Avigilon Bosch Head end installation Video wall Fire Detection – Ziton or Technoswitch or Vesda Computer Literacy – MS Office Drivers License Note: * certification can be expired as current employers tend not to renew certification Based in Somerset West, Helderberg Personnel was establishedin 1998.
