THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS TO: Support the Transaction team and ensure successful client-business matches. Which includes: Identifying potential acquirers/investors Maintaining database accuracy Delivering timely results Contributing to team success Adapting to changing needs Staying informed about industry trends THE TOP PRIORITIES OF THE ROLE ARE: Comprehensive Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry sectors, companies, and market trends to support informed decision-making in the mergers and acquisitions process. Database Accuracy and Management: Maintain and update the company's database and client records with accurate and detailed information, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Contribution to Team Success: Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to the overall success of the Transaction team and the company's objectives in the mergers and acquisitions market. Adaptability to Changing Needs: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing research needs and objectives, ensuring continued relevance and value in the role. Timely Delivery of Research Tasks: Provide accurate and timely research results to support the Transaction team's objectives and client needs. Identification of Potential Acquirers/Investors: Successfully identify and qualify a targeted list of potential acquirers or investors for our clients' businesses within agreed timeframes THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE: A relevant Bachelor's degree OR Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent) with at least 2-3 years of experience in research, data analysis, or in a similar field. Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, AND knowledge of data privacy and security protocols. Strong research skills and proficiency in various research platforms and systems, as well as the ability to adapt to constantly changing research needs and objectives. Ability to commute to work with no hassles. Nice to have: Experience with Salesforce would be an advantage.
