Position Overview: The ideal candidate is someone who possesses excellent sales and communication skills and has a deep love for cycling and a desire to share their passion with others. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment in the heart of Stellenbosch, interact with international customers, and contribute to the growth of our bicycle insurance business. Key Responsibilities: Follow up on bicycle insurance quotes made by customers and guide them through the product features to ultimately make a purchase. Engage with customers to understand their insurance needs and provide expert guidance on our coverage options, ultimately driving policy sales. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to convey insurance information and benefits to an international market effectively. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience and build lasting relationships. Continuously update knowledge of insurance industry trends, competitor offerings and regulations. Qualifications and Skills: Previous work experience with a good track record (references required). At least a school certificate, but ideally a 3-year degree graduate. Passion for cycling and a strong desire to share that passion with others. Proven sales or similar experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset to develop innovative sales strategies. Knowledge of insurance products and services is advantageous. Ambitious and eager to learn and grow within the company. Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to team dynamics. Own transport, ideally residing in Stellenbosch or the surrounding area. Contract Options: Seasonal fixed-term contracts are available for the busy summer period in the UK. Permanent roles are offered for experienced candidates. Working Hours: UK Summer Period (April - September): 10:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday. 11:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday. Remuneration&Perks: Competitive monthly base salary of up to R14,000 CTC (Cost to Company), depending on experience. Commission opportunities with the potential to earn between R20,000 and R30,000, based on achievement of sales targets.
