This is a lifetime opportunity to learn in this dynamic environment with little red tape that offers you lots of exposure to executives and the freedom to contribute to the team on various projects.Responsibilities:Support financial management of the business by producing monthly management accounts, annual budgets and revenue and expenses forecasts and ad hoc reporting of financial trendsEnsure integrity of financial results through performance of variance analysis and error finding on income statements and balance sheets movements on entity levelFinancial analysis of business unit earningsand expenses (burn rate)Consolidate financial information as requested for corporate reportingtogether with providing an understanding for high-level movementsThis role is responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making through real-time performance analysis and reportingStatutory reporting and requested management reportingContributing to Profit and Loss identification and strategiesManagement of accounting tools- including the regular required input and reviewing the dashboard viewDebtor reporting: net profitability of clients, working capital management and other capital allocation KPI'sAssistance with Claims reportingDaily Accounts Payable and Bank payments managementRequirements:Newly or nearlyqualified CA(SA)Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principlesWorking knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and profitability analysisExperience with accounting software (both input and output).Experience working with Sage Evolution and Sage Intacct is highly advantageousAdvanced computer skills (Excel) and some computer programming desiredFinancial services experience is advantageous (but not a requirement)Self-starter and operationally hands onStrong communication skills, including ability to articulate complex business issues in a clear and concise mannerAbility to interact maturely and professionally with senior managersStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable information
