Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a relevant tertiary qualificationMinimum 3 years relevant experience will be requiredMust have previous experience in inventory control and exposure safety standards and procedures in a chemical environmentGood communication and writing skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are importantMust be computer literateThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Providing daily assistance to various stakeholders on stock queries.Performing monthly sequence checks of the warehouse.Assisting with the reconciliation of stock variances on an ad hoc basis of the warehouse with problems as and when requested.Processing monthly stock charge outs.Processing stock adjustments, i.e. customer claims and charge on product, regional fund credits and trial products.Assigning and maintaining accurate records and tracking thereof.Providing assistance to various departments with month end procedures.Creating and maintaining stock codes.Assisting Accountants with month end procedures, i.e. balance sheet reconciliations.Maintaining SOPs.Assisting Accounts Payable with POs and GRN matching.Assisting with preparation of internal and external audits.Assisting with resolution of internal and external audit queries raised by the auditors.Facilitating stock audits and compilation of audit reports.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidate
