They will oversee the design and customization of technological systems to enhance customer experience and provide guidance to IT professionals and other employees. Managing the Systems&IT departmental budget, the CIO will approve purchases of technological equipment and software while forging partnerships with IT providers. They will ensure the optimal performance of the technological infrastructure and lead IT-related projects. Additionally, the CIO will drive technology changes for a competitive advantage, implement policies and procedures for compliance, and analyze the costs, value, and risks of IT to advise management on actionable insights. Forward-thinking, the CIO will guide the organization towards a future technological landscape, implementing efficiency measures for long-term cost-saving initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CIO will play an instrumental role in advancing the agricultural company's technological capabilities and ensuring its sustained growth and success.
