The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead the development and execution of the organization's technology innovation strategy to achieve sustained competitive advantage through efficient technology utilization, process improvements, and innovation. They will ensure the implementation of robust systems supporting the organization's objectives and operations while optimizing the technological infrastructure for optimal performance. Key Skills&Competencies : As a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, the CIO will possess strong leadership and organizational skills. They will demonstrate technical expertise and the capacity to communicate complex concepts effectively. A natural innovator, the CIO will be a team player who motivates and mobilizes teams, while their outstanding communication and interpersonal skills foster successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities : The CIO will establish and execute objectives and strategies for the Systems&IT department, selecting and implementing suitable technologies to optimize internal operations and strategic benefits. They will oversee the design and customization of technological systems to enhance customer experience and provide guidance to IT professionals and other employees. Managing the Systems&IT departmental budget, the CIO will approve purchases of technological equipment and software while forging partnerships with IT providers. They will ensure the optimal performance of the technological infrastructure and lead IT-related projects. Additionally, the CIO will drive technology changes for a competitive advantage, implement policies and procedures for compliance, and analyze the costs, value, and risks of IT to advise management on actionable insights. Forward-thinking, the CIO will guide the organization towards a future technological landscape, implementing efficiency measures for long-term cost-saving initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CIO will play an instrumental role in advancing the agricultural company's technological capabilities and ensuring its sustained growth and success.
