This is a hands-on position involved in business decision making, strategic planning and sales growth of the Service Department. This is a fast paced environment with high expectations where you are rewarded for doing exceptional work. This position is responsible for the performance and management of all Service activities including:Ensures departmental profitability while striving to meet goals and objectivesHires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all service department staffEncourages a safe working environment and appropriate use of PPEIs familiar with and able to perform all departmental dutiesConducts meetings with departmental employees as needed to discuss operations, safety, and/or problems that ariseEstablishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral businessServes as a liaison with factory representativesGreets all customers promptly and gives firm estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenanceHandles all customer complaints courteously and promptlyMaintains the highest possible standards of workmanshipReview and assess records of all training for techs required by manufactures/suppliersDevelops systems to check for quality of workmanship and jobs performed. Leads quality control inspection and safety inspectionStrives for teamwork and harmony with other departmentsMaintains a repair order system that follows the “three C’s”; complaint, cause, and correctionMaintains accurate records and ensures warranty parts retention and downloadsWorks with Parts Department to ensure proper parts stocking of high use partsEnsures units are triaged within 2 hours and repair plans are communicated to customersCommunicates effectively with all customers in a manner that reflects positively on one self, the dealership, and the brandsManaging the compliance of all Federal, State and Local regulations as well as Company Policies and ProceduresAll other duties assignedSKILLS REQUIRED:At least two (2) years of service management experienceCDL preferredMust display excellent leadership skillsAbility to adapt to constantly changing prioritiesRequires previous supervisory experienceStrong analytical and organizational skillsIntermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and OutlookExcellent communication skills, oral and writtenMust have positive, can-do attitudeMust have strong work ethic and commitment to extra hours when neededBENEFITS:$20,000 Company-Paid Life Insurance and AD&DBCBS Health – Employee contribution decreases with tenureDental and VisionAccident, Critical Illness, Cancer, Life Insurance and Disability401(k)Paid Time Off PlanWe have a family-friendly environment with a business casual dress code.#J-18808-Ljbffr
