Schedule: Full Time Shift :Days The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas The role you’ll contribute: The Cardiac Catheterization nurse will provide quality nursing care by assessing patient status during Cardiology related procedures. Demonstrates educational and managerial skills in dealing with other department personnel and quality assurance programs. Is responsible for nursing care for those patients in the Cardiac Cath and EP Lab, Echocardiography, Cardiac Rehab and Stress Testing Lab. Is also responsible for Pre and Post procedure prep and care as well as the patients flow during their admission. The v alue you’ll bring to the team: · Basic Life Support Certification · Minimum 6 mos. Progressive care, CCU, ICU or Telemetry experience · Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification · Conscious sedation certification · 500 hours of proctored cath lab training (or will train) Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: · Certified in ANCC or other nationally recognized nursing specialty applicable to the area · Bachelor’s degree in nursing · Minimum 6 mos.
