We are looking for an experienced Accountant for a full time role in the Greater Lithia Springs, Georgia area. Success candidate should have at least 3 years experience with a CPA preferred.Position SummaryThe main function of this position is to safeguard the company and its assets. In addition, this position will apply standardized accounting principles to analyze financial information, reconcile financial statements, prepare general and standard journal entries, assist in budget development, and prepare standard accounting and financial reports for management. Essential Functions:Maintain balance sheet schedules and finalize monthly bank reconciliationsPreparation and entry of monthly journal entries for close out purposesTimely and accurate posting of all cash entriesCompletes various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analysisPreparation of corporate month end close, financial statement review and budget variance reportsMaintain ownership of corporate credit cards, their administration, recording of purchases, and monthly reconciliation to the statementPrepare any necessary allocation (bill-backs) of revenue and/or expenses to the appropriate homes or fundsMaintain ownership of corporate revenues and Accounts Receivable, their recording and reconciliationsCalculate monthly management fees and any other related feesPrepare weekly cash flow report and review/approve weekly payablesTroubleshoot/Investigate any unexplained expendituresReview and approve weekly/bi-weekly check runs Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Experience (2-5 Years)Able to adapt to changing deadlinesExcellent Communication SkillsGreat Analytical SkillsWorks well in a team but also individually motivatedAbility to see the big pictureAttention to detail and multitaskingHigh level of professionalism and confidentialityProficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook)Highly organized and able to manage work flows to meet deadlines#J-18808-Ljbffr
