Duties & Responsibilities To lead and manage the Hospitality staff - delegating tasks and duties  Monitor safety and ensure cleanliness of buildings, work environments exterior and interior spaces, all areas of the properties Perform routine inspection and maintenance of buildings - interior and exterior Plan and initiate repairs and maintenance timeously to prevent deterioration Scheduling for emergency repairs from external vendors  Ensuring all security measures are in place, in working order, collaborating with the security company, correcting any faults, and running optimally  Plan and oversee projects within timescales and budgets  Strategies and co-ordinate facilities resources and operations as required Manage service maintenance agreements and execution thereof by the vendor Work with procurement to source the best value and look for opportunities to implement cost savings  Implement an effective planned preventative maintenance program for all plant and equipment ensuring longevity and optimal working condition Monitor and manage all contracted services, obtain quotations and prepare work orders Manage and supervise maintenance employees to ensure maximum performance and compliance with all policies and procedures Administer the expense portion of the annual budget/ business plan  Produce back up information for operational reports Ensure and implement all compliance with health and safety regulations Maintaining daily operations and efficacy of facilities, plant and equipment Create and develop reporting structures on Excel or software available , on maintenance, repairs, replacements and other incidents and make these available to the relevant management team  Plan and prepare for changing weather conditions on buildings and facilities Provide schedules of asset / motor vehicle repairs and services Ensure Motor vehicles are serviced on time  Corporate with building owners and senior management in respect of budgets for the need of the various facilities  Plan and co-ordinate all installations (telecommunications/ electrical / and related)  Develop a workable and targeted budget for re- refurbishments and renovations in collaboration with the CEO Manage and upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards  Monitor Fleet, liaise with fleet supervisors Inspect all buildings and facilities recommending repairs/ refurbishments Review utilities consumption and develop means to minimise costs  Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, handymen, groundkeepers, etc) and external contractors on site Control and oversee parking spaces/waste disposal/ building security Plan Office space and allocate accordingly Handle insurance claims/ plans and keep it on track Sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers for functions such as catering, cleaning, parking, security, and technology Advise the business owners on measures to improve the efficiency and costeffectiveness of the facilities Supervising teams of staff across different divisions Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance Actively dealing with emergencies as they arise Ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations Planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements Overseeing and assisting with office relocationDesired Experience & QualificationAn advanced certificate, diploma or bachelors degree in infra-structure and asseet management. BA in Facilities Management Public administration, Business Mangement, Project Management, Legal contracts and related fields3-5 Years in a Facilities Maintenance and Management position. Proven track record of Project Management Requisite to have worked with Assets Plant and Equipment Management Exposure to working with Landlords, Fleet Management, Building Contractors,Vendors, Housekeeping and Stakeholders Involvement in Legal Contracts / Procurement Application of technical and hands on skills in maintenance/installation/repairs Expertise in developing and scheduling preventative maintenance on Plant/ Equipmet and Assets Qualified to draw up budgets and projectsPackage & RemunerationBasic Salary R10 000 - R17 000.
