Visit us at www.momentummetropolitan.co.za Role Purpose Play a leading role in managing the guaranteed annuity and structured product solutions Requirements Actuarial degree with a minimum of 6 exemptionsTechnical excel and modelling skills are criticalAttention to detail is a critical skillMinimum of 2 years' experience within the Investments IndustryExperience with structured products or guaranteed annuities will be an advantageExperience with Power PI will be an advantage Duties & Responsibilities Understand and manage the pricing models for guaranteed annuities and structured solutions.Monitor market trends and competitiveness of solutionsBuild and maintain pricing models to assess the impact of potential changes and enhancements on competitiveness and financial results.Support the head of product to prepare proposals for governance forums including the product management committee, Manco, Excos, etc as required.Monitor the business mix and actual versus assumed parameters in the pricing models.Apply judgement in pricing that balances all stakeholders when special quotes are requestedProvide support as a subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholdersAnalyse data to provide insights on various aspects of the business, as requiredSupport the product and implementation teams for any changes from a system and experience perspective.Self-management and teamwork (People)Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and promotes excellenceDevelop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers, clients and stakeholdersPositively influence and participate in change initiativesContinuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledgeContribute to continuous innovation through the development, sharing and implementation of new ideasTake ownership for driving career developmentEffectively manage time and ensure optimal productivityEnsure technical product and legislative knowledge is always current in order to propose the most relevant and innovative client solutions and comply with governance requirementsBe self-confident, self-motivated and relentlessly pursue targets and goals.#J-18808-Ljbffr
