A leading company in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for Shared Services. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is crucial in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance across the organization. Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies Prepare and analyze management accounts, financial statements, and performance metrics Handle holding company reporting, annual consolidation, and financial statements Compile Board and Governance Packs, providing insights and analysis Supervise the Accounts Payable department, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations Manage royalty calculations, accruals, and payments Oversee fixed asset accounting, including depreciation, disposals, and additions Ensure fixed asset verifications are completed Prepare cashflow projections and monitor cash flow and liquidity Manage banking relationships and optimize working capital Oversee foreign exchange exposure management Implement cost accounting methodologies for new business Analyze cost structures and recommend cost-saving measures Coordinate insurance policy submissions and manage claims Collaborate with business units on annual budgets and forecasts Develop long-term financial plans aligned with strategic goals Establish and maintain internal controls Coordinate internal audits and address audit findings Provide financial support and guidance to related teams Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Skills&Experience: Minimum 5 years post articles, with at least 3 years in a similar role Strong understanding of IFRS, accounting processes, and internal controls Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Access Qualification: CA(SA) Honours in Accounting Contact OLIVIA MELTZER on 021418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTF019507.
