Job Description: To identify and remedy and oversee high risk areas for HSE in Vodacom Group across all Operating Markets. To be a change agent in instilling an HSE culture across the Vodacom Operating Markets. [ads1] Job Responsibilities: To cascade and monitor the HSE objectives for each Market HSE functional plan, while providing the necessary support to achieve said objectives. Keep abreast of industry developments and all statutory requirements by attending relevant seminars and training initiatives to inform Group EXCO. HSE decisions and initiatives across all Markets. Manage, implement and review annually the HSE management plans. Legal compliance, Risk Assessments, Training etc.) to ensure Markets’ targets and objectives are met in line with company-wide People Goals. Conduct risks assessments and apply appropriate risk control measures related to the risk profile of each functional area. Co-ordinate and provide input to HSE budget for innovation projects to drive culture and awareness of HSE in the business –Provide internal training. and compile Standards applicable across all Vodacom Operating Markets. Job Requirements: Registration with recognised HS&W accreditation bodies. NEBOSH. A valid driver’s licence. Advanced Certificate in Safety Management: OHS Act, , ISO 14001, ISO 45001 implementation certification and risk assessment certificate – advantageous. Wellbeing. 5 years’ experience in implementation and maintenance of HSE Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) – essential. 5 to 7 years’ experience in Health, Safety, Wellbeing&Environmental Management Systems across Countries inclusive of 3 year relevant Degree/National Diploma in HSE/Safety Management. Additional Business/Project Management/Audit courses – advantageous.
