Role Purpose/Business Unit: Serve as the central point of support to the trade and regions for end to end in store visual merchandising and retail marketing execution across branded footprint, Coordinate and manage distribution on all POS elements on a monthly basis ensuring effective, qualitative and optimal delivery and installation, Compile and publish Planograms as per segmentation, while ensuring timeously and quality driven communication and execution including general communication that sent to trade. Lead and coordinate all booking related to Manufacturer promoters in terms of store allocation, services rendered, SLA and compliance levels. Manage collaboration and engagement with internal and external stakeholders (which includes business units, product manufacturers e.g., Samsung, etc.) ensuring effective and efficient visual merchandising management within the branded channels. Support with defining, designing, and implementing a creative visual merchandising strategy that delivers on business and companywide priorities. Support with ensuring that visual merchandising within the branded channels is appealing and eye-catching and draws customers to the stores and supports with the basic visual merchandising elements meet the customer needs and creates best in class experiences. Create, compile, and deliver on reporting and key information for management and various stakeholders, relating to visual merchandising performance, activity and planning. Your responsibilities will include: Visual Merchandising Operational Management: Serve as the central point of support to the trade and regions for end to end in-store visual merchandising and retail marketing execution across branded footprint Coordinate and manage distribution on all POS elements on a monthly basis ensuring effective, qualitative and optimal delivery and installation Compile and publish Planograms as per segmentation, while ensuring timeously and quality driven communication and execution including general communication that sent to trade. Lead and coordinate all booking related to Manufacture promoters in terms of store allocation, services rendered, SLA and compliance levels Support and coordinate end to end management of all live display units in stores journeying closely with manufacturers, stores and business units Support with providing visual merchandising information for OBI Content Management Support with end-to-end visual merchandising aspects (initial and ongoing) for retail store transformation strategic programs (i.e. readiness of VM elements, content, live device process, in-store displays, OEM compliance) Ensure timeous and accurate monthly briefing on all visual merchandising elements Stakeholder Management: Manage collaboration and engagement with internal and external stakeholders (which includes business units, product manufacturers e.g., Samsung, etc.) ensuring effective and efficient visual merchandising management within the branded channels Manage effective relationships being able to engage, communicate and influence at various levels (management, trade partners, business units) Support and coordinate visual merchandising work planning with Advertising agency briefing in-store marketing elements Reporting Management: Create, compile, and deliver on reporting and key information for management and various stakeholders, relating to visual merchandising performance, activity and planning. Manage Retail Cloud system – ensuring all red flags are attended to timeously and consolidate weekly status report Ensure the use of digital tools for reporting purposes e.g. Qliksense Provide comprehensive and accurate feedback and related reporting to Visual Merchandising Manager The ideal candidate for this role will have: Marketing Diploma or related – essential Minimum of 3-5 years related working in experience in a FMCG Retail environment or related visual merchandising roles And/or Minimum of 5-8 years related working in experience in a FMCG Retail environment or related visual merchandising roles Excellent understanding of visual merchandising within the Retail environment is essential Understanding of Vodacom’s Retail visual merchandising model is advantageous Understanding the different Vodacom business units and the various structures and stakeholders is a strong advantage Exposure to dealing with various audience and levels internally and externally is a strong advantage Knowledge of visual merchandising standards and methodology Core competencies, knowledge and experience: Good computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint) Knowledge of systems; EVO, Analytical skills High levels of attention to detail Problem solving and decision making Multiple stakeholder co-ordination Self-management and awareness Excellent follow up and follow through Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written) Conflict management and resolution Interpersonal skills Liaison, Negotiation and Problem-solving skills Pipefy, Retail Cloud Excellent organisational&time management skills Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Creative and innovative thinker Conduct basic calculations for stock control and ensure accuracy We make an impact by offering: Enticing incentive programs and competitive benefit packages Retirement funds, risk benefits, and medical aid benefits Cell phone and data benefits, advantages fiber connection discounts, and exclusive staff discounts offered in collaboration with partner companies Closing date for Applications: 30 May 2024.
