The IIE enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private higher education in South Africa, and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to provide higher education qualifications accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus has Lecturer vacancies in the Faculty of Management Studies for the following qualifications for the second Semester 2024 academic year:Lecturer: Faculty of Commerce (Vacancies)AccountingMinimum Qualification Requirements:Ideal:Chartered Accountant ORCertificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) ORHonours/Post-Graduate qualification in Financial AccountingAlternatively:Honours in one of the Financial Management (CIMA) related fields (e.g. Tax, Accounting) with Financial Accounting to the third-year level ORNQF level 9 qualification in Financial Accounting Minimum Work Experience Requirements:One or more of the following:Lecturing experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, or Taxation preferableCompleted training contract at a registered firm of Chartered AccountantsLecturing experience in 2nd level Financial Accounting Financial ManagementMinimum Qualification Requirements:Ideal:Honours in Financial Accounting or ManagementAlternatively:Honours in one of the Business-related fields (e.g. Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Risk, Supply chain or Project management) – with Accounting or Financial Management to the third-year levelA Bachelor’s degree with Accounting or Financial Management or a similarly related field (e.g. Asset Management, Entrepreneurship, Risk, Supply chain or Project management) to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA or a Postgraduate diploma in Business or Education.
